Davis Howell

Founder & CEO

Davis Howell is the Founder & CEO of Safe Harbor Investments, LLC overseeing the acquisitions, dispositions and portfolio management of Safe Harbor Investments, LLC. Since founding Safe Harbor in 2018, Davis has acquired +2,600 multifamily units totaling more than +$300MM in gross asset value. Prior to founding Safe Harbor Investments, LLC, Davis worked in finance for one of the largest privately held US corporations. Davis graduated from the University of Tennessee studying Finance and Entrepreneurship. He is driven by his faith in Jesus Christ and enjoys spending time with his wife and two girls Willow (5) and Scottie (3).

David Clothier

Partner & CFO

David Clothier is Partner & CFO of Safe Harbor Investments, LLC. David manages the financial strategy of the firm including, but not limited to: organizing financing facilities, compliance reporting, cash & investment management, budgeting & forecasting and managing the day-to-day accounting & finance operations. David brings over 30 years of financial leadership, including his role as VP of Finance, Treasurer & Controller at Pilot Travel Centers, where he oversaw $10B+ in debt facilities and $3.5B+ in M&A. A former PwC professional and active CPA, he also serves on the boards of the Knoxville YMCA and several local nonprofits.
